Last week, I was talking with a colleague, Sue Krause, about this exact question. That conversation inspired us to run a little experiment, pitting two big-name AI copywriting tools—Claude AI and ChatGPT—against each other in a real-world email marketing test.
So, what did we find out?

We used both AIs to create email campaigns for one of our clients. It was pretty close, but ChatGPT managed to inch ahead by just a bit. Here’s the breakdown:

- Claude AI: Came close with 106 conversions and $8,215.05 in revenue.
It’s safe to say that both tools were impressive, and the numbers don’t lie—either one could be a valuable addition to any marketing strategy. But that little extra bump from ChatGPT gave it the win in this case.
Why Does This Matter?
The real takeaway here isn't about picking a "better" AI tool; it's about recognizing that these platforms can genuinely transform how we create content and drive results. As marketers, we’re always looking for ways to be more efficient, more creative, and ultimately more successful. And AI is quickly becoming one of our most powerful allies in doing just that.
